Just because of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s recent split doesn’t mean Demi still can’t look good. This hairstyle works well with Demi’s slender/thin physique because the loose curl adds some width and fullness around her jawline and neck. This curl can be achieved by using a 1 1/2 inch barrel curling iron when you have Demi’s length of hair. Also Demi’s dark chocolate brown hair suits her skin tone without making her look washed out.

Not many people can pull off the platinum blonde hair, but Christina Aguilera does it well. No brassy tones are evident which gives her a true platinum color. Some women may find it very difficult to achieve this color especially if they are naturally dark brown or darker. On the other hand, natural hair levels 6 and higher (light brown or lighter) will have an easier time getting the platinum results due to less red undertones in the hair. Christina’s hair was likely discolored using hair lightener/bleach. It was then glazed with a semi-permanent color to achieve the pale color. Ask your hairstylist if this is a good look for you and the maintenance involved.

Who? What? Kate Hudson is a brunette now?! Okay first Jason Alexander with hair, now Kate as a brunette? My stars. I don’t know what to do with you guys anymore…certain things in the universe we thought we had established are now mere memory. What’s next, the sky is purple?

But what IS this? Apparently Kate’s new look is for her role in the upcoming movie The Reluctant Fundamentalist. And, much to my delight, it’s apparently a wig.

Well, here’s one to file under “crazy but true”! Toy manufacturer Bridge Direct’s CEO Jon Foreman estimates Justin Bieber’s hair makeover earlier this year cost his company 0,000.

What?!

Foreman’s company creates dolls in Justin Bieber’s likeness. When they learned of The Bieb’s new ‘do, dolls with his old haircut were already in production. However, for the second run of the doll they corrected the hair, costing the company about 0,000. Crazy!

What celebrity’s hair do you most admire? Or least admire? Or just like to stare at because of the crazy trainwreck? Regardless of the reasons, these are the top celebs whose hair people wanted to see when they hit the Yahoo Search this past month. Is your favorite on the list? Some of these really surprised me!

It’s definitely no surprise that Tom Brady comes in as the most searched celebrity hair style. The news of him finally chopping his wild mane made headlines across the country (and made this blogger very happy!).

Also no surprise on this list is of course Justin Bieber, whose hair is almost more famous than his music. After all, who can say they have a fan-run twitter feed dedicated to their hair?

We all knew Emma Watson was a future Hollywood Hottie, but I don’t think anyone anticipated this transformation. Our little Hermione is all grown up and turned heads world-wide when she debuted this immaculate pixie cut.

I’ve given Katie Holmes a hard time lately about looking like a bit of a hot mess with her hair in recent times, but her name continues to be on the list of celebs whose hair draws the most searches. My hypothesis on this is that while her hair has been looking a little rough lately, she has rocked some pretty awesome hair in the past, like this bob pictured here. The sassy hair cuts she has had in the past are classic and still in style- perfect for busy moms, too!

I think if I were ever to go blonde, I would take a picture of Carrie Underwood to my stylist. Perfectly placed highlights and lowlights beautifully frame her adorable face! Her hair is always healthy looking and shiny, and styled perfectly (would a country star ever be any other way?!). Fabulous!

I was slightly surprised to see Kris Jenner on this list, but now that you mention it she does have nice hair. Usually. Sometimes I’ve seen it get a little crazy, verging on “crazy older woman hair”. You know, those hairdos some women “of a certain age” get when they want to “young up” their look..? Messy, piece-y, tousled hair can look really out of place, depending on the woman if you go overboard.

Okay explain this one to me, please? Dorothy Hammill‘s haircut was iconic in the 70s. But that was the 70s. Why is it still so popular to search for it? My guess is because we keep referring to any sort of bowl-ish girl’s haircut as a “Dorothy Hammill haircut”. For example, Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men.

It’s interesting to me that yet another short haired celebrity is on the top searched list! Certainly not everyone can pull off Halle Berry‘s short cropped hair, but let’s be honest Halle Berry doesn’t look like just anyone.

Beautiful Glee cast member Dianna Agron is another celebrity, who (pink hair aside) always seems to look on point when it comes to her hair. She always wears such glamorous hair styles! She must feel every bit as much as the princess she looks like.

Another surprise on the top 10 list for me is Jennifer Love Hewitt! This blunt cut longer bob (aka the “lob”) is perfectly on trend for fall. (For another gorgeous ‘lob’ check out Selena Gomez!) It must not have been a look Miss J Lo Hew was fond of though, because she’s been seen since with some serious extensions, reverting back to her previous signature look.

Perhaps television’s most famous bald man, Jason Alexander is best known for his role as George Costanza on Seinfeld. Through his character, Alexander became sort of an unofficial spokesperson for bald men everywhere. In fact, GQ included him in their list of the most powerful bald celebrities. But it would appear his term as bald superhero has come to an end!

Jason Alexander was photographed recently sporting a new head of hair! While I must say it looks pretty good on him, I’m going to have trouble wrapping my head around this one…no pun intended.

So, football. That means my HD TV is being monopolized by my boyfriend, and I have to be careful I don’t get startled by his shouting at it during a game if I’m not paying attention. Sometimes I watch the games with him (hello, guys in tight pants? yes please…) for some “quality time” (during which I may or may not doze off). I definitely wasn’t expecting to see something that needed to be on this blog while “watching” football. But then…

HE DID IT. TOM BRADY FINALLY CUT HIS HAIR!

We complained almost a year ago about Brady’s hair starting to look suspiciously like Justin Bieber’s, and hey even the Biebs has cut his hair since the bowl cut. But it didn’t even stop there. Brady’s hair eventually got close to Ashton Kutcher proportions.  Some guys can pull off long hair. Kutcher and Brady? Not so much. Besides, drowning those cheekbones in a sea of messy hair is criminal. We’re much happier to see Tom Brady with short hair. Are you?

Rest in peace, Tom Brady’s mop.

We all know Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara is one smokin’ hot Colombian lady. But did you know she’s actually a natural blonde? Crazy right? But true!

Sofia Vergara is naturally a blonde. But when it comes to getting work as a Colombian actress, she found she was able to get more jobs once she started dying her hair brunette- the exact opposite of what most Hollywood hopefuls do! She looks great either way, but I actually think the brunette is better. It’s very flattering to her skin, and makes her eyes pop more dramatically.

Gwyneth Paltrow. We need to talk. You are smokin’ hot and in ridiculous shape (as showcased by the, uh, questionable gown you wore last night to the Emmys), but it’s time to address something that has been troubling me:

What in the heck is that? And by that, I mean your hair. A center part and vaguely mousy looking? You can do better! You are Gwyneth freaking Paltrow for crying out loud! I am distressed to read that this hair look was created by David Babaii. It was distressing because that means someone actually did this to you. On purpose. He called this hair “straight edgy”. I have a better name for it: “limp boring”.
